The IBC course helped me develop confidence in my role. The exercises, particularly the agreeing fees exercise, encouraged me to ask questions, apply my learning to real-world scenarios, and explore new areas of clerking I had not yet encountered at that stage of my career. The in-class teaching day was also a highlight, giving me the opportunity to meet other clerks in similar roles and build professional connections that continue to expand my network within the profession.
